A woman is able to do so much more when she is empowered by a loved one such as her husband, mother, best friend, or significant other. Sarah is the mediator in helping both the mother and her partner feel at ease. She will work closely with the woman’s birth partner in encouraging him or her in how they can be more involved without feeling overwhelmed.

A quote from a father to be:

“One of the greatest experiences a husband can be offered in life is the gift of being able to experience a natural birth with his wife. There is a spiritual and emotional connectivity that happens throughout this experience, from rubbing your wife’s back as she walks circles around the building, all the way to the end as she grips your hand and squeezes as you whisper in her ear “its ok.” To be there with her is simply what defines what a man is to his wife – to support and nurture her when she needs it the most. To quote my wife, “you don’t remember the hard parts so much…just the good parts.” I believe God intended for life to be brought into this world naturally; it’s such a joy!”
